Unfortunately we will have to cancel our Valentine?s Day ride and food drive yet again. The weather just isn?t cooperating with our ride plans! However, this is great for future trail work! But wait! We?ve got another fun ride planned!

Join us for our monthly holiday ride & to support our local food banks! Each month we’re welcoming current SHARE members and non-members to join us for some fun times while helping out the community. We’ll move the rides from location to location & each ride will have a holiday theme.

In Orange County, the 36th most affluent county in the nation, there are more than 400,000 people at risk of going to bed hungry sometime each month. The majority of people at risk of going hungry each month are children and single-parents, seniors on fixed incomes, the working poor, and other men and women confronted by financial difficulty or who are physically unable to earn a living.

Come join us on Monday, February 23rd at Cook?s parking lot for a Luge Loop & please bring at least 1 nonperishable (non-expired) canned or boxed good. Your generous donation will benefit AIDS Service Foundation’s food pantry in Irvine. Mardi Gras is on Tuesday, but we?re celebrating with beads & a pi?ata! You can stay after the ride for eats at Cook?s if you?d like!

Last month we collected 70 lbs of food that benefited the Second Harvest Food Bank in Irvine. Let’s meet or beat that number on February 23rd! Thanks to all the generous mtb’ers that donated food!

We look forward to seeing you there!
