Backcountry Trail Crew, I wanted to remind you that this Sunday the 25th is April?s Trail Work Day! Last month we did some awesome work on Quail Run and we have received many complements, Thank You! The Park is still green and the wildlife is great this time of year at Caspers. Just this week I have seen a Grey Fox, Cactus Wren, Golden Eagle & Red Shoulder Hawk chicks poking their little heads out of their nest. The days are getting hotter though, so let?s try to start a bit quicker this month. Please arrive by 7:45am so we can get all the administrative stuff out of the way and get on the trail by 8:15ish. As always, we will provide the tools, gloves and some snacks. Please make sure you bring water, hat, sunscreen, sturdy shoes, long pants/shirt & sun glasses recommended. As far as the reoccurring OCHC members, if you have already filled out the full One Time Volunteer form online, all you need to do is print out the guidelines and provisions, sign it and bring it to me. You don?t need to fill out the whole form again. Please see the attachment for the link and directions to the online forms. HEADS UP: We are doing some work on our water pipes from the well, so we may or may not have water this weekend. So please bring all of your water with you. The rest rooms may be closed, but we have port-a-potties and hand washing stations. Please let me know if you have any questions, Thanks, Adam Shuck Park Ranger I Caspers Wilderness Park Office: 949.923.2208 Cell: 714.277.9023 Email: Adopt a Park volunteer requirements
