Trail Work Day in Crystal Cove State Park – great day and great volunteers
SHARE trail work day in Crystal Cove State Park on Saturday January 10 was a success
The rain held off just long enough to make the trail conditions perfect for trail work. 20 volunteers came out and worked on Missing Link and Fence Line trails.
On the Missing Link trail, the team added out slope, grade dips, water drainage to make a more sustainable trail surface. The volunteers also worked on a minor re-route to direct riders towards the middle of the trail and did some brushing. In addition, the volunteers removed parallel by-pass routes along the trails along the Fence Line trail and closed some unapproved connector trails and removed old signs, posts and barb wire along the trail. Volunteers enjoyed a nice lunch and beverages after the trail work day.
Thanks to Regina, David, Mike, Charlie, Eric, David, Andy, David, Christopher, Timmy, Scott, Steve, Tim, Martha, Jane, Brad, Steve and Lana for a great trail work day. Super thanks to trail bosses Robin and Paul.
Thanks to the CSP staff at Crystal Cove State Park
