Who are the SHARE officers? There are so many people behind the scenes that make things happen for SHARE. Here are a few of them that actually get to have their picture on the site!
The President……
Paul Milller
SHARE Vice President for 4 years, Peters Canyon representative for 6 years.
Goals for SHARE: Regularly scheduled weekend rides. Increased visibility of SHARE in the MTB community. More members. More members that are active in club.
Favorite SHARE memory: ”End-of-Season parties in the El Moro Parking lot. Especially the games. Ghost Ride. Fill the bucket with water bottle race. Two people, squeezing water bottles between their knees (no hands), whoever filled the bucket first won.”
The Membership Coordinator…..
Ray Brandt
SHARE Membership Coordinator for his first year. SHARE member for 10 years.
Goals for SHARE: “I would like to see the organization grow by at least 50 members who will participate in our many activities we offer, actively join committees, and take a leadership position where possible.”
Favorite SHARE memory: “My favorite memories of SHARE are of the comradary we had at the Tuesday evening rides and on the trail work days. We used to all meet at the Elmoro parking lot prior to 6 pm each Tuesday and socialize. At 6 pm we would divide into groups based on ability, like moderate and advanced. Sometimes we would have a beginner group when appropriate. After the ride many of us would meet in Corona del Mar for dinner and lots of laughs.”

Steve Larson
SHARE Secretary/Photographer for 2 years and involved with SHARE for 3 years.
Goals for SHARE: To get my newsletters and meeting minutes out on time.
Favorite SHARE memory: “Trying to figure out if the guy in the tight shorts and long socks was for real at one of the Poker Rides.”

SHARE Treasurer for 4 years and involved with SHARE for 10 years.
