2013 SHARE/IMBA Poker Ride

Join SHARE Mountain Bike Club of Orange County in celebrating our club’s 25^th year and celebrating our first year of being Orange County’s IMBA chapter mountain bike club. The 2013 SHARE/IMBA Poker Ride is on May 18th at 8 am in Santiago Oaks Regional Park. Ride is $25 for all participants. Post ride lunch and beverages is $10 (free for SHARE/IMBA members). The SHARE Mountain Bike Poker Ride is a very fun event that has been run annually for over 15 years. The event raises critically needed money sponsoring trail work and wilderness restoration projects throughout Orange County. There will be a great post ride raffle, lunch and a wide selection of fine beverages from our sponsor New Belgium Brewing Company!

If you haven’t renewed your IMBA/SHARE membership yet, this is a great time to do it. IMBA/SHARE members get the post ride lunch and beverages for free!

2013 OC Trail Work Season in Full Swing

Please join OC Parks and IMBA/SHARE Mountain Bike Club for Trail Work in Orange County. We will be completing much needed trail work in our local Orange County parks.

Santiago Oaks Regional Park – Saturday – February 9

Join SHARE mtb and IMBA on Saturday, February 9th for some much needed trail work in Santiago Oaks Regional Park (SORP) . We will be working on the Chutes Ridgeline and will be meeting at 8:30 am at the SORP Ranger Station where parking is free for volunteers. The parks are beautiful right now and the soil is perfect for maintaining our trails.

Trail Work Day – Santiago Oaks Regional Park – Sunday Dec. 16

Trail Work Day in Santiago Oaks Regional Park this Sunday

It is trail work time in Orange County – time to get dirty and have fun. We have an opportunity this weekend to complete habitat restoration along the fine trails in Santiago Oaks Regional Park.

Date: Sunday, December 16
Time: 8:30 – 12:00
Where: Meet at Park HQ, 2145 N. Windes Drive, Orange
What: Native Planting along trails to restore habitat
Bring: Sturdy shoes, work gloves, hat, snacks and water.

Please feel free to ride to the work site or ride after the project. You may want to explore the fine trails in Santiago Oaks Regional Park.

Free parking at the park HQ. Tell them you are there for the trail work.

Hello SHARE Members and Friends. We have an opportunity to help complete the re-route of the Oak Trail in Santiago Oaks Regional Park. Time to get dirty and have a great time.

What: Lower section of Oak Trail tread work and restoration of old trail bed.
Bring: Sturdy shoes, hat and water.

Please sign up for the 2011 SHARE Mountain Bike Club Poker Ride.
It will be at Santiago Oaks Regional Park on Saturday, May 21.

The sign up is on Active.com.
There will be no day of event registration or purchase of lunches.

Cost is $15 for members, $45 with membership (membership includes t-shirt), lunch with two beverages $10

Some other information:
Poker Ride parking, Check-in and Start will be at Irvine Regional Park (1 Irvine Park Road, Orange, CA).

From the Irvine Regional Park entrance, make the first left and park in Parking Area #3.
Look for the SHARE trailer.
Parking is $5.00.
DO NOT PARK AT SANTIAGO OAKS REGIONAL PARK.

Poker Ride Finish, Lunch and Opportunity Drawing will be at Santiago Oaks Regional Park, near the Visitor Center.
