Trail Work Days on Tuesday August 9 and Saturday August 13.
The Irvine Ranch Conservancy has invited SHARE to participate in the construction of a sweet new single track trail in Bommer Canyon.
The Turtle Ridge Trail will be 2.1 miles of brand new natural surface trail that will connect the City of Irvine’s Bommer Canyon trail system to Summit Park in the Turtle Ridge neighborhood. The trail will be open for hikers and bikers seven days a week from 7 am to sunset and will offer users incredible views of the San Joaquin Hills and the Santa Ana Mountains. In order to complete this ambitious project we need your assistance. Please join the IRC on one of the dates below:
Registration Required
Tuesday August 9 at 8:30 am at the Bommer Canyon Trail Head. For this event, please preregister at http://www.irlandmarks.org/activities/sign-up.aspx?id=8015 so we know how many people to plan for.
Saturday August 13 at 8:30 am at the Bommer Canyon Trail Head. Please preregister at http://www.irlandmarks.org/activities/sign-up.aspx?id=8016 so we know how many people to plan for.Tools and snacks will be provided, but please bring your own sun protection, work gloves and sturdy shoes or boots.
