1st Ever San Elijo Hills Time Trial – Double Peak
“America’s newest uphill time trial!”
A local resident and sports enthusiast, Mark McLeod, founder of New Version Sports, Inc. is proud to present the “1st Ever San Elijo Hills Time Trial – Double Peak”, a cycling race where each rider will go alone against the clock, from the start at the elementary school parking lot, wind down around the corner by the Peppertree Cafe, then all the way up San Elijo road to the top of Double Peak Drive to the finish line at Double Peak Park. A 3 mile course with an ascent of over 1000 ft. In addition to providing exposure for local businesses, a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit our local schools. The date of the race is July 17th, 2010 with the first rider to go off at 8:00 a.m. Information and registration is available at New Version Sports.com or simply call Mark McLeod at 760-470-2139.

Start Line – Adjacent to San Elijo Hills Elementary School on Schoolhouse Way
Finish Line – The top of Double Peak Drive at Double Peak Park
Parking – Exclusive parking for the riders is available at 1600 Schoolhouse Way, San Marcos, Ca. 92078 (Elementary and Middle Schools and Albertson’s parking lots)
Race Course – Completely controlled for rider’s use only. Riders will have the entire right lane for the race
Timing – All times will be posted throughout the race and available for website viewing that night
Distance – 3 Miles
Finish Line Elevation – 1660 ft.
