Barham Ranch Day 2010!!!

Barham Ranch Day 7th Anniversary

Barham Ranch Day at Santiago Oaks Regional Park will celebrate the 7th Anniversary of the acquisition of 509 acres of open space land on Saturday, March 27. This special event will begin at the Heritage Oak Tree at 10:00 a.m. and feature a trip up to Robber’s Peak and back. Hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians are all invited. Tour guides will lead each user group over a different series of trails through Barham Ranch. The total distance will cover approximately 4 miles in 90 minutes. Afterwards, everyone will gather at the Picnic Area to test their roping skills with a lasso and by tossing a horseshoe. A western themed lunch snack will include a cup of chili, cornbread and sarsaparilla soda. The event should conclude by 1:00 p.m.

Parking Fee: $5 per vehicle entry

Special Instructions: The hike to Robbers Peak and back is for intermediate to advanced hikers due to the steepness of the trails. A guide will lead beginner hikers along a different course across the lower and flatter sections of Santiago Oaks Regional Park.
