 17th Annual Urban Cyclocross Race™

Sunday October 25th

Are you an amateur or professional cyclist or do you want to watch extreme bike racing involving riders running with bikes not just riding them? Then look no further. Head over to Cornerstone Picnic & RV Park and join us as the Urban Cyclocross™ series continues with round #3, the Black Cat ‘Cross in Silverado Canyon. This USAC sanctioned competitive cycling event in Orange County features professional and amateur men, women and junior cyclists competing in one of the oldest and most unique forms of cycling. The Pro/Open Men’s race at 12:30 will draw current and former State Champions as they compete for a $600 cash purse.

The Urban Cyclocross™ is a fast paced spectator friendly event that encompasses all levels and age ranges for today’s cyclist. Junior’s ages 10-14 years will compete at 9:00 AM and beginner men and women categories are available at 9:30 and 10:25 AM respectively. Free Youth Races for ages 10 & under are also offered at 1:15 PM and the race will be covered on BikeSport Radio (www.bikesportradio.us)

The cost of the event is $25.00 for most participants 18 and older and free for juniors age 19 & under with annual USAC racing license. All spectators are welcome for free.

The Urban Cyclocross™  benefits SHARE Mountain Bike Club of Orange County who will work in conjunction with Back On Track Productions and the series continues for a total of five races through December 6th in different locations in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.
