The Crystal Cove Interpretive Assoc and SHARE Mountain Bike Club will once again host the Halloween Night Ride. This year’s ride will take place on Friday Oct. 30th at 6pm staging at the El Moro visitors center. There will be no charge for parking but a donation of $5 to CCIA is requested. There will be three groups, advanced, intermediate, and novice, led by Crystal Cove State Park’s Trail Assistance Volunteers and SHARE volunteer docents.
Some night riding experience is recommended but not required for the novice group. All participants must have a light of at least 10w and minimum 2 hour burn time. Please be aware that novice does not mean beginner. The novice group will be covering at least 10 miles with approx. 1000 feet of overall elevation gain.
There is a limit of 60 riders for this event so if you are interested in participating please send an email to me at RLemonds@gmail.com . I will send you a reply and put your name on the list. The replay email will be your confirmation.
Refreshments will be provided after the ride.
